Fourth Young Leaders Camp: Future leaders work for a better future

(Khartoum, The Private Office): Under the auspices of H.E. Ambassador Saeed ZAKI, the Young Leaders Development Programme (YLDP) organized the 4th Annual Young Leaders Camp, which was held on Sunday 25 August 2019 in Khartoum, Sudan.

This year, the camp included diverse activities in a variety of knowledge and skills areas such as leadership, teambuilding, problem analysis and innovation mapping, as well as a number of other recreational activities.

One of the most prominent new things in this year camp is that it was not a traditional camp with group activities, but aimed at equipping its participants with a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills, which qualifies young people to play an influential role, through the implementation of innovative initiatives that enhance the role of youth and address community problems and challenges, an approach that combines cognitive content and recreational activities.

For his part, His Excellency Prof. Ahmed Awad Al-Gamel, Chairman of the Higher Advisory Committee for the YLDP, praised the positive impact of the camp, saying: “Through this camp, we seek to shed light on the role of youth in society, develop their capacities for positive change, promote developmental values and culture of dialogue and enhance their community participation, through these initiatives.”
