This prestigious award celebrates creativity, innovation, and social responsibility, shining a spotlight on individuals who have made tangible contributions to youth development and the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The ceremony was held on Thursday, December 14, 2024.

Among the honorees was H.E. Lieutenant General Prof. Dr. Ahmed Elgamel, Chair of the High Advisory Board of the Young Leadership Development Programme – Sudan. He received the Order in recognition of his distinguished service and pioneering leadership in youth initiatives that have strengthened youth capacities and promoted their engagement in civil society. Through his sustained efforts and creative vision, he has empowered the rising generation to pursue their ambitions and set an exemplary model in skills development and innovation.
Ms. Aya Farah, Chief of Staff at the Private Office, was also awarded the Order for her distinguished service and outstanding leadership in driving ambitious programs that promote positivity and elevate youth contributions to sustainable development. Her inspiring vision has helped embed a culture of volunteerism and fostered meaningful collaboration between youth and their communities.
Prof. Dr. Amal Bakhit El-Awad was recognized for her distinguished service and ongoing contributions to public policy development, integrating it at the heart of Sudan’s national development agenda through the Sudan Vision 2030 initiative. Her research, foresight, and scientific efforts enriched the work of the Sudan Policy Advisory Group by creating platforms for development leaders to engage in future-oriented initiatives, thereby fostering a community capable of addressing long-term challenges.
Also honored was Ms. Alaa Ahmed, Director of the Young Leadership Development Programme – Sudan, for her exceptional work in promoting interactive youth education. Her innovative initiatives expanded outreach and enriched the quality of content delivered to participants, enhancing personal and social development outcomes among beneficiaries of the international leadership fellowship in Sudan.
In the area of sustainable development, Dr. Mona Mohamed received recognition for her pioneering achievements in community outreach and communication in development and humanitarian projects. Her work with local and international institutions has contributed to sustainable resource management, improved quality of life, and measurable progress in areas such as peacebuilding, governance, and environmental resilience—highlighting her dedication to building a more sustainable future for Sudan.
